地震捐款英语作文
地震后的捐款行动 篇1
Everyone has some unforgettable experiences. Last Monday, there was a serious earthquake in Sichuan Province. Many people were killed. A large number of houses collapsed. I was shocked. When I see these pictures on TV, my eyes were filled with tears. I wanted to do something for people in the disaster areas. Two days later, in front of the library of our school, almost all of the teachers and students came to donate money. I was moved. I thought although I couldn’t go to Sichuan like the soldiers and the doctors, I still wanted to try my best to help them. I took out all my pocket money and threw it into the donation box.
地震捐款倡议书
篇2 Dear friends, May 12, 2008 at 2:28 p.m., a 7.8 earthquake struck Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province, leaving thousands dead and injured. The sudden disaster has brought great pain to the people in the disaster areas. As students, although we live thousands of miles away, our hearts are not far from home, our motherland. We may not be able to do much, but there are some things we can and should do. First of all, donations are necessary, but they must be within our capacity to ensure our own lives and studies are not affected. Excessive contributions that could lead to harm to ourselves or others are not advisable. Secondly, we should encourage everyone to donate what they can, whether it is money, clothes, or other supplies, to help the disaster victims rebuild their lives. Let us come together and show our love and support for the people of Wenchuan. 地震捐款的重要性

As the president of the Student Union in our school, I am writing to you all to organize a donation drive for the people affected by the recent earthquake in Wenchuan Province. On May 12th, at 2:28 pm, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 struck Wenchuan County, leaving behind a trail of devastation. Thousands of people lost their lives, and countless others were injured. Many houses and schools were destroyed, leaving hundreds of thousands homeless and in urgent need of assistance.
We, as students, may not be able to contribute physically to the rescue efforts, but we can show our support and love in other ways. Our donations can provide essential supplies such as food, water, clothing, and medical supplies to the disaster victims. Every penny counts, and every donation helps to ease the pain and suffering of those affected.
We are calling on all students to participate in this donation drive. Please bring your pocket money, clothes, or any other items you can spare to the donation boxes set up in front of the school library next week. All funds and supplies will be promptly sent to the disaster areas to support the relief efforts.
Let us come together and make a difference. Together, we can rebuild Wenchuan and bring hope and comfort to those who need it most. Thank you for your attention and support.
